Financial Assistance

True North Insight offers financial assistance as part of our commitment to make the Buddha's teachings accessible to all, regardless of means. Financial assistance is awarded on a first come, first served basis. We offer partial scholarships: one per person, per year. Only a limited number of financial aid awards are available for each retreat.

You can apply for financial assistance when you register using our online registration form, which is found on the page of the retreat you wish to attend.

All retreats require a deposit when registering, even if you are applying for financial assistance. 

Please note that dana to the teachers is not included in the financial assistance. Recipients of financial assistance are encouraged to consider teacher dana when indicating how much they are able to pay for a retreat.

If you receive financial assistance and you need to cancel your registration, please do so early! This gives us time to offer a financial assistance to someone else in need. The TNI cancellation policy applies to financial aid applications.
